My name is Carver.
I started Contrivity.com many years ago as a seed investment firm that looked for young business talent and fresh ideas. As with most things with time I have changed and so has the website. The first amongst these changes was an encounter I had with a young woman from a very poor country that was severely physically abused by her husband. Both her eyes were swollen, her lip was cut, both her wrists were swollen from landing on the ground and bracing herself. But what got me the most was that there were small indentations all around her neck. I asked her what it was from and she said that it was from her chain when her husband tried to strangle her with it. I asked her why she didn’t just leave him. She replied that she couldn’t. That he held all her papers and that she had no place to run and nobody to help her. That day is basically how Contrivity was conceived. I started off mostly helping people that needed it the most. These were all bad cases. Some of them I provided documents to for free just because they couldn’t afford anything. Soon, I realized that there were many people out there trying to do better for themselves and their only crime was the fact that they were born in one country and not another. We are all humans and we share this planet together. Everyone has just as much of a right to go somewhere as the next person.
I have contacts throughout the world that I have made over the years. Some are good and as you’d expect some are crap. Some respect the code amongst us and others are just out to make a fast Euro. One thing that I have learned is that if you provide a solid product with professionalism your customers will never stop. So has been the case. Contrivity is becoming connected with everyone and everything within our niche. I certainly hope that I can help you dream a little. Let me know if I can.
